CHARACTER INFORMATION
Character Name: Finn
Age:12 35
Canon: Jackie Chan Adventures
Canon Point: Right before the Finale, just after getting out of jail.
Character Information/World Information: Link.
Personality: As the leader of the Enforcers, one might expect Finn to be serious and professional. One would be wrong. Finn is, in fact, the most casual and laid back of the trio, behaving seriously only out of frustration or concern. He seems to make it his mission to keep the mood light, up to and including cracking jokes in the middle of fights, even if his pun-heavy sense of humor leaves something to be desired. Many of these jokes are at his own expense, showing a willingness to make fun of himself despite otherwise displaying a nearly comically overblown ego and constant, petty complaining. Many others are at the expense of friends or enemies, as he can rarely, if ever, resist an opportunity to snark, mock or tease.
In fact, Finn's arrogance comes across as very secure. While he can get indignant at times, it's more likely to be in response to an insult to his friends, a liked employer or Disco than to himself. On that note, one of his best traits and the likely reason Ratso and Chow look up to him, aside from the fact that he can occasionally be genuinely clever, is his protective and loyal nature. Though lazy and often self-interested, even frequently cowardly seeming to the point of attempting flattery almost reflexively when he thinks he's in trouble, he is consistently at his bravest when defending someone he cares about, whether saving Valmont's life by threatening Daolon Wong or deciding he couldn't just run away and let someone else finish off Jackie Chan. However, once the threat is over or if it seems like he's more likely to die than make a difference, he goes right back to primarily looking out for his own skin.
Another of his positive traits is his fondness for children, even turning downright paternal with kids he feels responsibility for. Despite having had ample chance and motivation to hurt or even kill Jade Chan, he has only once even come close to doing her real harm—under the direct, supervised orders of Shendu. Though he has shown willingness to verbally threaten her, it has always been in the context of motivating her uncle to cooperate, under the assumption he would do anything to keep her safe. With his own nephew, he displays caring and nurturing tendencies, treating the boy more like his own son than a member of extended family. When faced with the potential influence he could have on him, Finn shows rare acknowledgement that his lifestyle is something to be ashamed of and even hints of guilt.
Finn's definite worst trait is his greed. Combined with his laziness, his desire for riches is the primary reason he became and remains a thief. Despite having recently resolved to quit being a bad guy in the hopes of escaping the constant enslavement by evil beings and painful humiliations at the hands of Jackie Chan, he displays little to no willpower when he sees an easy opportunity to steal something valuable. Any reasons why he should refrain are forgotten, leaving him thinking only about the possibility of striking it instantly rich, although he does show an ability to control his avarice when the object of value in his sight would be difficult or clearly dangerous to obtain or when ownership of it puts him at particular risk, such as an object in a museum or one confirmed to be cursed.
Added to that is the tendency for him to be blinded by his own ego in ways that undermine the traits that make him a good leader. He can be bossy, stubborn and proud, to the point where even his best friends get sick of his micromanaging and claiming credit for their ideas. He also has a tendency toward violence and destructiveness, particularly when he has supernatural powers at his disposal, and has shown eagerness to empty a parking lot by causing enough property damage to scare off the civilians. Though he didn't attack anyone other than the people interfering, he enjoyed destroying the parked cars, even taunting their owners. Playing into this is a love of attention, regardless of whether it's positive or negative...although naturally he does prefer to be the focus of awe or admiration.
That's his base personality, the traits that don't change throughout canon. Traumatic experiences working for Daolon Wong and Tarakudo have changed him somewhat over the past years. Though always somewhat deadpan and difficult to impress while in a sour mood, the things he has seen and been through have intensified this trait to the point of not batting an eye at the demands of the son of Shendu, even bluntly refusing to cooperate. It takes more to scare him than it once did, with dragon breath largely failing to intimidate him even though it was an ability Shendu frequently used to threaten him in the past. The biggest change, however, is his willingness to try to live honestly. Repeated failures and repeated enslavements by evil have forced him to realize that he and his cohorts “aren't really good at being bad guys” and that villainy as an occupation simply isn't worth it. Though he always backslides when faced with temptation, he is at least attempting to stay on the right side of the law...for now, anyway.

Character Name: Ratso
Age:8 35
Canon: Jackie Chan Adventures
Canon Point: Same as Finn.
Character Information/World Information: Link.
Personality: Ratso's behavior can be neatly divided into two categories: peaceful and hostile. For the most part, he's a very calm and docile individual, to the point where one might question whether or not he really has a background as a mob enforcer. Patient and usually even tempered, he generally attempts to act as a counter to his friends' more impulsive natures. However, as he is also naïve, trusting and generally unable to stand up to peer pressure, he can be easily tricked or pushed into going along with something he disapproves of, as when he was convinced rock beat paper for long enough to get halfway through a job nobody wanted or when he failed to convince Finn and Chow not to give up on reforming to steal a giant opal.
On a related note, Ratso is, by far, the most moral of the Enforcers. While not above violence or theft, he shows no indication of enjoying either and has been the most dedicated to reforming. In fact, when given potentially highly destructive powers, his first thought was toward how it could be used for making food. His interests veer toward the harmless, even childish, to the point that he would rather use an army of darkness to play baseball against than for anything harmful, despite the power corrupting him toward his most evil nature. This does not, however, mean that he doesn't have any mean spirited tendencies. Like his companions, he frequently makes jokes at others' expense, even crossing into outright mockery of those he dislikes, and can be smug when he has the upper hand in a conflict or has been proven right, as well as sarcastic and snide when insulted.
For the most part, however, Ratso is good natured and relentlessly optimistic. Rarely does he complain, preferring instead to find the upside to a situation, so long as one exists. He's often easily pleased, particularly when his weakness for cute things comes into play, making him predisposed toward liking both children and small animals. Though this may make him seem like a pushover, the truth is one would be foolish to push the limits of his friendly attitude and tendency to assume the best. Once someone crosses a line and earns his anger, he can be ruthless and downright vicious, evidenced by his attempt to kill Daolon Wong after Finn had the idea to use the power of the Snake to betray him. On the flip side, treating him well, or at least not grossly mistreating him, will earn you a loyal and dedicated friend, to the point that he continues to stand by Finn and Chow despite being fully aware that they're bad influences and the primary reason he ended up on the wrong side of the law.
Between his naivety, childishness and a tendency toward literal mindedness that often leads to him missing metaphors, it's easy to assume that Ratso is dumb. The truth is more complicated, as he occasionally shows flashes of insight and evidence of college level education, even claiming to have studied theoretical physics before being dragged into crime by Finn and Chow. A more accurate description would be to say he's simpleminded, not very well read outside of his particular field of study and prone to voicing ideas without thinking about whether or not they make sense. He is, however, the most practical of the Enforcers, often coming up with simple ideas that were too obvious for those prone to expecting complicated solutions, be it attempting to steal the Talismans from Section 13 by forcing Jackie Chan to cooperate with the Dark Hand or checking the phone book to see if a younger Valmont happened to be in San Francisco in the seventies. Of the three, he is the most likely to think in terms of logic, as when he pointed out that Valmont delaying giving the Dragon Talisman to Shendu was likely to result in the demon wondering why he hadn't gotten it yet.
When it comes to hostile situations, Ratso is nearly an entirely different person. His temper takes the front and he fights aggressively, frequently being the first to attack. He shows no hesitation to injure or even kill his enemies, and even shows a distinct pride when he believes himself to have the upper hand. While his good nature isn't by any means feigned, it does cover a capacity for ruthlessness that is necessary to survive a career as a professional thug. While he was the only one of the three to show actual reluctance to betray Jackie for the opal, the fact remains that he is capable of doing incredibly reprehensible things when required of him.

Character Name: Chow
Age:15 23
Canon: Jackie Chan Adventures
Canon Point: Same as Finn and Ratso
Character Information/World Information: Link.
Personality: Understanding Chow's personality is an exercise in reading between the lines, separating who he really is from the traits he fakes to make himself seem cooler and more intimidating. To a first impression, he seems like a typical tough guy punk: uncaring of the world around him and afraid of very little. While not entirely false, this image is an exaggeration meant to cover for traits he considers embarrassing. In truth, he's the most cowardly of the Enforcers, prone to hiding behind or clinging to someone larger—typically Ratso—when scared, and it wasn't uncommon earlier on to hear him shriek in terror. When Drago attempted to intimidate the three of them into working for him, Chow was the only one of them to show fear, buckling at the first show of force.
As nice as it would be to claim the rest of his attitude problem is an act, it would be a lie. His penchant for violence is very real, and far outstrips Finn's. Even simple acts of destruction seem to entertain him greatly, and he is frequently the first to turn a tense situation violent. Add to that his short temper and tendency toward defensiveness, and he can be a volatile and dangerous individual. Fortunately, he is not without a sense of humor, and, much like Finn, is capable of laughing at his own misfortune when it's brought up in a joking manner. For the most part, however, his humor is unabashedly mean and thrives on snark and sarcasm, though he'll rarely pass up a clear opportunity for a pun.
One aspect of his personality that rarely shows not due to personal avoidance, but rather lack of opportunity, is a dirty mind. When Finn and Ratso pose dramatically as part of the team, Chow's pose has repeatedly been something more at home on the cover of an adult magazine or overly sexualized comic book. A flashback has shown him to take particular interest in attractive women at parties, though obviously the child-friendly nature of his canon means he can't be overt about anything of an adult nature. In-universe, this is most likely a result of him frequently being in the presence of a small child and avoiding making inappropriate references.
On that note, perhaps the only 'softer' trait that Chow doesn't seem to find embarrassing is a weakness for children. Like Finn, he actively avoids harming Jade, choosing to attempt to corner her rather than raise a weapon when she has something he needs to get from her. He shows a strong bond with his nephew, even corralling his nastier side in an effort to not be a bad influence on the boy. He showed similar behavior toward Jade during the period of time when he was on parole under the supervision of the Chan Clan, even demonstrating a lack of his usual defensive attitude and showing good sportsmanship when she beat him at video games.
Behind the aggressive and macho front, the root of most of his behavior is insecurity. He's quick to correct others when they use terms he considers demeaning or inaccurate, such as insisting on being called a 'custodial engineer' while working as a janitor. He wears prescription sunglasses rather than eyeglasses, and refuses to fully admit to his vision problems even when asked. Image is obviously very important to him, enough so that he will sacrifice practicality by wearing his tinted glasses even in dark areas and enough that he was notably resentful about the cosmetic changes inherent to becoming a Dark Chi Warrior.
Though it rarely shows, Chow does have a softer side. He genuinely does care about the other Enforcers, and even seems to value Valmont's opinion of him long after his former boss lost authority over him. He was the most touched on hearing that Valmont had tried to rescue them from Daolon Wong, and has shown himself to have a willingness to put himself at risk for those he cares about. Even relatively small gestures of kindness, such as remembering his name, can be enough to earn some expression of gratitude.
Much like Finn's, Chow's impulsiveness can give rise to the assumption that he's stupid, especially with his low class city accent. He frequently lets his temper, his pride or even simple greed get the better of him and lead him to act rashly, but he shows sound tactics when calm, even able to make use of the smoke effect of his teleportation as a Dark Chi Warrior to give Ratso an opening that allowed them to defeat Tohru. He's occasionally shown solid insight into less direct things as well, such as realizing that one astral being could hurt another because they were only intangible to solid forms. Like his friends, he has several qualities that could make him a highly capable individual, but fails to meet his full potential due to some form of personal immaturity.

Moveset: Double Kick, Sky Uppercut, Focus Energy, Flare Blitz
Item: His tacky prescription sunglasses.
Extra note: These three are being apped as a set because of their unique, very close dynamic. They have a close sibling relationship, with one rarely being seen in public without at least one and usually both of the others. They know each other well enough that they need very few, if any, words to communicate their intentions, a fact that is incredibly helpful as they never make decisions alone that would impact the whole group, to the point that they're never employed separately even after resolving to try to make their living on the right side of the law. At times they even function as a unit so much that they'll split a single comment between the three of them, with each leaving off for the next to pick up without hesitation or mistake. While not magically bound in any way, they are very much as inseparable as three humans can be, and would be practically impossible to manage with different players.
